Since I have already mentioned my obsession with Iceland and the Aurora Borealis in the past (and I still haven’t made it there), I will simply put this here and let you appreciate the magic of this breathtaking phenomenon combined with some thrilling music by Ludovico Einaudi.
Lay back and enjoy 🙂
P.S. Happy new year travellers and geek(ette)s!
Your favourite G(r)eeks are back! We know it’s been a long time since our latest news but we promise more posts, more photos and much more travelling 😀
Until the next post, enjoy spring at Thessaloniki!
See you soon..
Two days ago it was raining on my hometown so I tried to apply the techniques I’ve learned about taking photos of bolts. I must admit the results were way too good for my skills, but I guess luck was on my side ^^ Behold!
I recently discovered a post on Pinterest that I immediately adored: a string of lights on the wall, where you can hang your photos using little pegs. I thought it was an amazing idea so I bought what was necessary and.. voila! I’m presenting you my wall 😀
I love halloween so so much! Happy (late) Halloween everyone ^_^
Since I returned to my home town, at the parents’ house, I am constantly trying to find hobbies in order to not socialize a lot with them 😛 But seriously, while thinking about stuff I like, what I thought I always wanted to do but never really had the chance was to make my own piece of “green paradise” at my balcony. So I bought some beautiful plants and started sowing like crazy 😀
So far I’ve got Oregano, Rosemary, Spearmint, Chrysanthemum and lovely red Roses!
The next ones on the list are some mint and basil. Can’t wait..

The geeky info of the day. You’re welcome ^_^
A word cloud of the Top 100 places in London
If there is anything that can make me even more excited about science, then it must be to get involved with it. The more active I get, the more I like it… but enough with the introductions! This semester, as part of an assignment for the university, I did a small survey to find out the most popular places in London and I wanted to share it with you. I think the results are quite interesting.
About 50 people
More than 270 answers
Here is the full list: Top 100 places in London
P.S. I would like to thank anyone that participated to the survey for their valuable help.
